Step 3– If the printer making grinding noise when printing, the friction point that could be the problem is the drum pin. The rum gear rotates against the drum pin.

Step 4– Take the pin in one hand and use a cotton scab to lubricate the pin. 

Step 5– The drum gears need to be lubricated too. Lubricate the inside of the drum gears.

Step 6– Lubricate the wiper blade of the drum with toner.

Step 7– Take the shaft of the rollers out and use very little lubricant to Lubricate the shaft of the rollers. 

Step 8– The gears of the fuser unit might not be messing well which can be the reason for the printer making squeaking noise. If it is making noise. You can grease it to reduce the grinding noise.

Step 9– If the greasing of the gears does not solve the problem. Replace the fuser unit of the cartridge. 

Step 10– There are a few gears inside the printer too which can be behind the noisy sounds you hear during the printing process. 

Step 11– Lubricate the gears with mechanical grease.

Step 12– Paper feed rollers are also one of the rotating parts inside the printer that can be causing the problem. The paper feed rollers play an important part in printing. It helps to take the paper in and out of the printer.

Step 13– Lubricate the paper feed rollers to fix the problem of the printer making grinding noise when printing
