1. Turn off the printer and take the power cable out of the socket 
2. Open the paper loading tray and all the other doors the Brother printer has. 
3. Pull the scanner cover up to the open position by grasping the plastic tabs on either side of the machine. Next, you need to make sure that the paper that is stuck is not left in any of the device’s corners.
4. Make sure that every sheet that is stuck has been removed from the machine using the Disc Guide.
5. Place the gadget, Disc Tray, into the Disc Guide.
6. The Disc Tray pushes the trapped paper out; remove it.

10. Reinstall the Disc Tray in the machine’s scanner lid.
