This Canon printer code and messages are related to the ink pad of your Canon printer. It displays on your Canon printer when the Ink pads, a small sponge that soaks the extra ink during the printing process are full. 

Solution

  • Open the printer 
  •  Look for a black rubber frame containing the ink-absorbing pads under the ink cartridge assembly.
  • Carefully remove the rubber frame from the printer and remove the ink-absorbing pads. 
  • In the water-filled bowl, place the pads. Squeeze and rub them to get rid of the ink.
  • After removing all of the extra water from the pads, spread them out to dry on paper towels.
  • When completely dry install the pads back in the rubber frame. Reinstall the Inkpad back into the printer.
