Method 1- Reinstall the toner to fix Brother no toner error message
Step 1– if you get “brother printer no toner detected” after turning on the printer, open the front cover of the printer.
Step 2– Pull out the toner and drum unit out from the printer.
Step 3– Press the green lever on the right side to unlock it. The green lever is used to attach the toner and drum unit together.
Step 4– Detach the toner from the drum unit.
Step 5– Clean the toner with a cloth and attach it back to the unit.
Step 6– Install the toner back into the printer.
Step 7– close the front cover of the printer.

Method 2- Reset Brother printer no toner message
If the Brother printer keeps saying no toner after you have reinstalled the toner, you need to reset the toner to clear the printer memory. Follow the steps below to reset the toner.
Step 1– Press the front cover to open it.
Step 2– With the front cover open, press the “Stop” button and “Clear” button a few times to go to the rest menu.
Step 3– Once you are on the reset menu, press the “OK” button once.
Step 4– Watch the button on the printer screen carefully. If Brother printer says no toner but there is toner inside. Reset it by pressing the “+” sign key on the printer.
Step 5– Close the front cover of the Brother printer.
