Step 6– Make sure that the carriage is able to move freely. Move the carriage to the right applying gentle pressure.

Step 8– Move the carriage to the left and check if there are other visible shreds of paper causing the carriage jam.

Step 9– After you have cleared the HP printer jam, close the top lid of the printer.

Step 10– Put the power cable back into the printer.

Step 11– Put the head of the power cable back into the wall outlet.

Step 12– Press the power button to turn on the HP printer.
