- Remove the printer covers.

- You can remove the printhead of the printer by gently pulling the release bar.
- Take a printhead cleaner or a bowl of water and soak the printhead inside the water.

- Close all the work on your printer and power it off
- For extra safety, remove the plug of the printer from the source of power
- Open all the printer covers and remove the paper tray from the printer
- Pull out each of the ink cartridges one by one
- Place the ink cartridge in a towel
- Check the cartridge slot if there is a tally printer issues with the cartridge
- Clean all the ink cartridges and start placing them back into their respective slots one by one
