  1. Open the Start Menu of the Windows computer by just hitting the Windows button on your keyboard once
  2. From the start menu, open the control panel of the Windows computer
  3. In the next step, click on devices and printers inside the control panel

  5. Click on “See what’s printing” to see the Xerox print queue
  6. There will be all the print jobs that are in the Xerox print queue
  7. Select all the print jobs and click on cancel

Resetting the print spooler should fix whatever problems could be causing the Xerox printer queue stuck on deleting

  1. Hit the windows button on your keyboard to go to the start menu and type in “Run” on the search box to open the run command
  2. You can also open the “Run” command box by simply pressing the Windows key and the R button at the same time
  3. A search box will appear inside the Run command box
  4. Type Services.msc into the run command’s search box
  5. Click on services
  6. This will show all the services that are assigned to run on your computer
  7. From the list, select the printer spooler service
  8. Right-click on the print spooler and click on the stop
  9. It will take about a minute to stop
  10. Again right click on the print spooler and select start and the printer spooler will be restarted.

Configure the Standard TCP/IP Port 

  1. Turn on your computer and connect the printer to your computer
  2. Open the start menu 
  3. Press the Windows key to open the start menu of the Windows computer
  4. Locate the search bar in the start menu
  5. On the search bar, type “control panel” and hit the “enter” button on your keyboard
  6. On the menu click on “Devices and printer”
  7. Clicking on this will open up a list of devices and printers connected to the computer
  8. Right-click on the Xerox printer you are using
  9. In the next step, select the tab named “ports”
  10. It might be necessary to get administrator assistance if the Ports tab’s contents are grayed out. Speak with a system administrator.
  11. Select Configure Port.
  12. A different port type, like a WSD Port, might be in use if the Configure Port is grayed out. Make a New TCP/IP Port if an existing WSD port is being used.
  13. In the Protocol section, choose LPR.
  14. In the LPR Settings Queue Name column, type lp.
  15. If the option for LPR Byte Counting Enabled is checked, uncheck it.
  16. If the box next to “SNMP Status Enabled” is checked, uncheck it.
  17. Click on OK on the next screen and select Close after that
